Nintendo Switch: special preview events announced for the US, John Cena to attend the first one

In order to promote the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo is hosting a Preview Tour across the United States (and Canada), and the console is playable at several events such as PAX. But that’s not all: Nintendo announced today a series of special event, that will take place in unexpected places. The goal is to show that the Nintendo Switch can indeed be played everywhere.

For this event, Nintendo is showcasing the Nintendo Switch with a “highly visual, interactive living room-inspired spaces”, located at unexpected places. There will also be special guests, such as John Cena who will attend the first event in California. He will showcase 1-2-Switch, and will play with invited fans, YouTube “influencers”, and various other people. Mario and Luigi will attend the final event, in New York.

The three events will take place at the following locations:

  • The Desert – Invite only

The Nintendo Switch will be released on March 3rd, worldwide.
