Dragalia Lost
Earlier this week, 8-4 announced that they were the ones behind the English localisation of Dragalia Lost, Nintendo’s latest mobile game (released yesterday in the United States, Japan, Maccau, Taiwan, and Hong Kong). It’s thank to their hard work that it was launched in the United States on Day 1, even though Nintendo initially announced that the US launch would come at a later date.
Speaking of Dragalia Lost, here’s the music video for “Owaranai Sekai de” (lit. In A World That Never Ends), the main theme of the game by DAOKO:
Finally, here’s an audio message from the two hosts of the Dragalia Lost radio show, celebrating the launch of the game:

Splatoon 2
Earlier this week, the Squid Research Lab shared more details about another Special Weapon to be added with the next content update: the Booyah Bomb! You need to charge it to use it, and you can speed up the process using the “Booyah!” signal. If your teammates reply with a Booyah! of their own, they get a small bonus to their special meter. Once the Booyah Bomb is fully charged, you can throw it for a big inksplosion.
Here’s some pictures for that Special Weapon:

Mario Tennis Aces
Here’s the intro trailer for Birdo, the latest additional character for the game:
Birdo will be available to players who take part in the Online Tournament in October, and to all players from November 1st onwards.
The World Ends With You -Final Remix-
Yesterday, Nintendo shared some comments from the developers of The World Ends With You -Final Remix-, and more precisely the following people:
- Tetsuya Nomura (Creative Producer and Main Character Designer)
- Tatsuya Kando (Director)
- Takeharu Ishimoto (THRILL.inc)(Music Composer)
Tetsuya Nomura had something pretty interesting to say about this final release of the original game:
There are a number of implications behind this Final Remix version. In addition to my intention of making this my last time working with the original game, I think this is the final chance for creating a path to the next step, which I’ve had ideas about since the first launch 11 years ago. Many thanks to everyone for supporting ongoing efforts.
In other words, if you want to see The World Ends With You 2 one day, you know which game to get on October 12th!
The World Ends With You -Final Remix- (Switch) comes out on October 12th in Europe and North America.

Super Mario Odyssey
Earlier this week, another Special Outfit went live in Super Mario Odyssey: the Conductor Wig & Conductor Outfit. As usual, you need to have completed the main adventure, and then head over to any good Crazy Cap store to buy it using hard-earned coins!
Here’s what the outfit looks like:

MariCar lawsuit
Last year, Nintendo sued MariCar Co. Ltd (the company behind the Mario cosplay kart races in Tokyo), for unfair competition and copyright infrigement. And yesterday, Nintendo announced that it had won the lawsuit; as a result, MariCar will not only have to pay compensation, they also have to stop renting costumes based on Nintendo characters
