Bayonetta 1 & 2

Last week, Nintendo opened the official website for Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 in Japan. They don’t reveal anything really new, which is hardly surprising as the games themselves don’t offer anything new compared to the Wii U version (contents-wise).

The website does feature some gameplay footage clips, that we grabbed and merged in a single video for your viewing convenience:

Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 (Switch) come out on February 16th, worldwide.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

One of the flaws of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is that there’s no way to “watch” again the many tutorials teaching you the various game and battle mechanics. Monolith Soft. is well aware of that, which is why they’ve uploaded all the tutorial videos on YouTube and posted them on the official website (in the Production Notes’ section).

Unfortunately, the videos are only available in Japanese, which means they’re going to be pointless to anyone who doesn’t speak that language. We still went ahead and grabbed all the tutorials videos, and merged them into a single one for your viewing convenience:

Soma Bringer

Monolith Soft. is mostly known for the Xeno “series” (Xenosaga, Xenogears, and Xenoblade Chronicles), but it’s far from being the only games they have ever made. In 2008, they released Some Bringer: an action-RPG on Nintendo DS, that’s not all that well-known due to a pretty simple fact… it was never released outside Japan!

On the Touch Generation website, Nintendo published a pretty interesting talk between Tetsuya Takahashi (Producer) and Yasunori Mitsuda (Composer). And thanks to the goold folks over at Game Design Gazette, the talk is now available in English: click here to check it out!
