Nintendo Switch Experience + Lottery
Nintendo also announced that besides the Nintendo Game Music Live! performances, there would also be some stage presentations at the Nintendo Switch Experience event. The schedule for those will be revealed on January 13th, right after the Nintendo Switch Presentation.
Also, there will be a lottery, where visitors will able to try and win a Nintendo Switch, with 10 winners each day (20 winners for both days). To participate, visitors need to have a personal QR Code scanned at the event, and if they’re selected, they will be notified by email by the end of February.
Here’s how to display your QR Code:
- on the My Nintendo website, click on the Menu button at the top left corner of the screen;
- click on Check-in
- the QR Code is then displayed
If you’re planning on attending the event and participate in this lottery, there’s a few things you should know:
- the staff at the event will not be able to help you with the QR Code, so you need to check that it displays correctly beforehand;
- you can only participate once;
- the lottery is also open to visitors not living in Japan, but the prize will only be sent to an address located in Japan.
The Nintendo Switch will be released in March 2017 worldwide.
