Nintendo Direct: presentation dedicated to ARMS (+ Splatoon 2) announced for later today

The latest Nintendo Direct presentation already focused on ARMS and Splatoon 2, and the next one, announced today, will focus entirely on the former (though there will be a little bit of the latter).

Today, Nintendo announced that a special Nintendo Direct presentation dedicated to ARMS would be livestreamed on May 16th (North American time) / May 17th (European and Japanese time). The entire presentation will be about ARMS, but Nintendo specifies there will also be a new trailer for Splatoon 2 too (about 2mn long).

So, what can we expect for this ARMS Direct? Well, plenty of details about the game, including new character reveals, a rundown of the various game modes available, and maybe (hopefully!) the announcement of a Global Testfire-like (or not) demo for the game. After all, getting as many people as possible to try out the game before release is going to be pretty crucial to its success.

Here’s when the ARMS Direct will take place:

  • Europe: 12AM on May 18th
  • UK: 11PM on May 17th
  • North America (EST): 6PM on May 17th
  • North America (PST): 3PM on May 17th
  • Japan: 7AM on May 18th

ARMS (Switch) will be released on June 16th worldwide.
