Nightmare Busters Rebirth: cancelled SNES game to get second chance on Nintendo Switch; Kickstarter campaign coming soon

Pix’n Love and Aurora Game Studio have announced a Kickstarter campaign for Nightmare Busters Rebirth, which is set to kick off soon.

Nightmare Busters was originally developed by Arcade Zone back in 1994, but was cancelled barely a year later. And now, thanks to Aurora Game Studio, who has been working on it for several years, the game is about to get a second chance on modern platforms (including the Nintendo Switch) as Nightmare Busters Rebirth.

Originally developed in 1994 by Arcade Zone for the Super Nintendo, Nightmare Busters’ release was unfortunately canceled in 1995. Eager to pay tribute to this enchanting arcade game, Aurora Game Studio and Pix’n Love Games have joined forces to bring this extraordinary project back to life. Thanks to Nightmare Busters Rebirth, and with the support of some of the original creators, players will have the chance to experience this intense adventure through a complete overhaul. The game now features enhanced visual quality, polished animations, and a reorchestrated soundtrack—all while preserving the essence of what made the original so special.

Nightmare Busters Rebirth hopes to gather a passionate community to support its development. The funds raised will be used to add new features, optimize existing levels, and enhance the adventure with fresh gameplay elements.
