Minecraft: some technical details, screenshots
On Monday, Nintendo announced that Minecraft would finally launch on Wii U, after years of wait. Minecraft: Wii U Edition will launch next week, on December 17th, in Europe, North America, and even Japan. Following that announcement, Nintendo opened the gamepage for the game in Japan, providing some additional details about the game.
Here’s the details:
- Players: 1 to 4 (local multiplayer, splitscreen), up to 8 players online;
- Size of save data file: 512MB
- Save data files: up to 20 per user
- Downloadable content: Skin Packs, Texture Packs, Mash-up Packs
- Controllers: Wii U GamePad (required for Player 1, game compatible with Off-TV Play but no inventory management on the GamePad screen), Wii U Pro Controler
- Compatible accessories: USB Keyboard, Headset
- Internet features: VS, co-op, voice chat.
