Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – More footage
Later this year, the long-awaited 4th main entry in the Metroid Prime series, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, will launch on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
The game was previously showcased during the Nintendo Direct in March (with a new trailer and some footage), and the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct in early April (with a short clip). And thanks to Nintendo Today!, there’s some “new” gameplay for you to check out.
The video showcases that appears to be from the beginning of the game, with Samus making her way through a battle between the Federation and the Space Pirates. We also get a sneak peek of the Joy-Con 2 mouse controls in action, of Samus’ trusted Morph Ball ability, and even a boss battle.
Here’s the footage:
If you want to see more of the game in action, make sure to check out the recording of the Nintendo Treehouse Live segment from April! It showcases the same section as the footage above, but in greater details!
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (Switch, Switch 2) does not have a release date yet, but is slated for a 2025 release worldwide.
