Lightwood Games bringing Dan McFox: Head Hunter to Nintendo 3DS

Dan McFoxToday, Lightwood Games uploaded a video showcasing their new Nintendo 3DS game. It’s called Dan McFox: Head Hunter, and as the name implies, it involves “hunting” for heads. Basically, you have a description on the top screen, and you have to find characters that match that description on the bottom screen.

There’s two modes:

  • Mission Mode: various missions
  • Round up mode (with leaderboards), in which you have to catch as many suspects as you can within the time limit (60 seconds).

StreetPass is used in the game: you can set highscores as StreetPass Challenges, which will then be sent to other players via StreetPass. When you receive one, you can try and beat their score.

And unlike their previous games, Lightwood Games went and localised Dan McFox: Head Hunter in several languages. The reason for that is because the game is pretty much unplayable if you don’t understand English.

Here’s the languages the game will be playable in:

  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Italian
  • Japanese

Finally, here’s the video introducing the game:

Dan McFox: Head Hunter (3DS eShop) comes out later this year.
