ADDITIONAL PATCH NOTES

Balance

  • Fixed the jump buffer that was getting a lot of players killed by sending them into a never ending loop of jump spam and bunny hopping.
  • Fixed the Glider and Melee attack buffers, giving players more control over those skills.
  • The Glider Speed enhancement now requires Gen 1 Computer Chips instead of Motherboards, making it easier to obtain.
  • Increased the crafting speed of Cognitive Fluid A, C and D.
  • Increased the crafting speed of Rice Powder significantly.
  • Rebalanced the Research Brain tech cost for all Cognitive Fluid C and D techs. Now all initial Cognitive C techs are cheaper, addressing a major mid game problem where player progression stalled unless they spent a lot of time farming and crafting large amounts of Cognitive C (bye bye mid game slog). Also reabalanced some of the Cognitive D techs, so they now require some Cognitive C too.
  • Rebalanced the Cooking and Fridge techs so they can be obtained earlier. Especially the Stasis Storage tech, that now requires Cognitive C instead of D.
  • The portable teleporter tech is now cheaper.
  • Reduced the number of Gels required to unlock Overflow Harvest I from 10 to 5 in the Agriculture room in the Monolith.
  • Increased the wind current length of Fans in the base so they can propel players higher.
  • Arclight Moth: Increased the hurt stun time.
  • Horned Arclight Moth: Increased the hurt stun time, players can interrupt the charge attack by damaging it; Blocking or Parrying the charge now inflicts damage to it.
  • Golden Speckled Eagle: Blocking or Parrying the charge now inflicts damage to it.
  • Increased the Phase Trap range (go catch’em all)

Bugs

  • General bug fixes and localization improvements.
  • Fixed an interaction bug with the intro machine that wouldn’t work if players mashed the interaction button.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred when players paused during fade in/out on teleports and scenes.
  • Fixed the interaction range for all Monolith’s machines.
  • Fixed a bug preventing Bosses from spawning if the spawn rate was set too low in Advanced Settings or on Easy Mode.
  • Added missing SFX to several enemies and level hazards in the Hive and Nest areas.
  • Readjusted colliders for all base structures and platforms.
  • Fixed an issue in the Hive where small creatures damaged players when thrown using the Clutcher skill.
  • Updated the Earthquake event icon and adjusted the default color of all event icons.
  • Adjusted the Farm interaction range, to prevent players from getting stuck inside platforms while interacting with them.
  • Added proper falloff to the Press banging sound so the player can’t hear it from miles away (also lowered the volume slightly).
  • Lowered the Stasis Bed interaction SFX volume so it stops destroying people’s hearing.
