Today’s Japanese Nintendo eShop news: screenshots and launch trailer for VVVVVV, but also…

VVVVVV

Games published by Nicalis always take a long time to come out, especially on Nintendo platforms and in Europe. But that’s nothing compared to Japan, who is only getting VVVVVV today, courtesy of Pikii.

Here’s the launch trailer and some additional screenshots:

Sabaku no Nezumidan

Released right after the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Sabaku no Nezumidan is a simulation game where you have to manage a tank-like vehicle controlled by mice. It’s been selling pretty well since launch, and today, Arc System Works released something that should help boost sales… a demo!

This demo version will let players try out some stages from the beginning of the game, along with the main gameplay elements (management, battles, etc.). The best part? You can actually transfer your data to the full version of the game, and therefore start it from where you left off in the demo.

Cosen

Unless you own a Japanese Wii U and/or Nintendo 3DS system, Cosen is most likely not a publisher you’re familiar with. They have published various games on those two platforms, mostly from western indie developers.

Today, they launched a special contest in order to celebrate their 5000th follower on Twitter. There’s various prizes to win and, despite being a Japanese publisher, Cosen accepts entries from players from all around the world.
