[Japan] Fire Emblem Engage Original Soundtrack: all the sales data (Oricon, Billboard Japan)

Fire Emblem Engage is the latest entry in the long-running Fire Emblem series, and its soundtrack album (the Fire Emblem Engage Original Soundtrack) was released today (March 20th) in Japan.

Like we did for the various Pokémon soundtracks, we created this post in order to round up all relevant sales data for the album in one place. It features data from both Oricon (daily and weekly) and Billboard Japan (weekly), and will be updated regularly (as soon as new data is available), so keep checking back for updates!

In comparison, the previous Fire Emblem soundtrack albums sold as follows:

  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses Original Soundtrack (released in 2021) was the 335th best-selling album at retail that year with 11,114 units sold.
  • Fire Emblem Fates Original Soundtrack (released in 2016) was the 463rd best-selling album at retail that year with 8,964 units sold.

According to Oricon, the Fire Emblem Engage Original Soundtrack ranked #21 in the Weekly Album Ranking during its launch week with 2,485 units sold.

As for Billboard Japan, they report the following:

  • Hot Albums: ranked #20
  • Top Album Sales: ranked #20 with 3,187 units sold
