Inazuma Walker Vol. 09: details about the Inazuma Eleven event in January

Today, Level-5 livestreamed the latest episode of Inazuma Walker, its webshow entirely dedicated to the Inazuma Eleven series (and more precisely Inazuma Eleven Ares). This time around, the focus was almost entirely of the big Inazuma Eleven event taking place in January, and there was no new episode of Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code or even footage for the Inazuma Eleven Ares game.

Missed the presentation? You can now watch it in full on YouTube:

Inazuma Walker Vol.9 – Corner #1

The first corner of this episode was the usual one where fans share memories / fun anecdotes about the series. This time around, the theme was “Just you watch, Mr. Akihiro Hino! This is my Inazuma Eleven!”. Using the many answers of fans, they created the “Dream Team” by selecting the most popular characters for each position: goalkeeper, forward, defender, etc.

Here’s screencaps showing the characters that were selected:

Inazuma Walker Vol.9 – Corner #2

During the second corner, more details about the big Inazuma Eleven event taking place on January 21st in Japan (at the Tokyo Big Sight) were shared.

Here’s the full program:

  • showing of the Inazuma Eleven Reloaded anime episode
  • showing of the Inazuma Eleven Ares anime (Episode 1 + 2)
  • showcase of the Inazuma Eleven Ares game
  • talk show with the various guests
  • special live performance
  • and other surprises…

Here’s the list of guests attending this event:

  • Ayumu Murase (Inamori Asuto’s voice actor)
  • Yuka Terasaki (Masakatsu Hiyori’s voice actress)
  • Hirofumi Nojima (Gouenji Shuuya’s voice actor)
  • Natsuki Hanae (Okuiri Hiro’s voice actor)
  • Ryouei Kimura (Michinari Tatsumi’s voice actor)
  • Haruka Tomatsu (Hanta Hattori’s voice actress)
  • and more…

pugcat’s will also be there, with a live performance of the opening theme and more. The group singing the ending song will also be present.

During the livestream Akihiro Hino revealed that instead of Episode 1, it’s Episode 1 + 2 of the Inazuma Eleven Ares that will be shown at the event. He also mentioned “movie-like quality” for the animation of that episode. Fans who attend the event will be able to get various goodies, such as Special Prototype Licence Cards.

Also, Inazuma Eleven fans will also have the opportunity to attend a live viewing at several cinemas across Japan, on the same day (and at the same time). Those who do will also get goodies.

An important thing about the Inazuma Eleven event and the live viewing is that you need a ticket in order to attend, and said tickets are not free. In other words, the likelihood of the event being livestream is close to zero (though it’s possible part of it may be livestreamed).

If you live in Japan, you can check out plenty of additional details about the event on the official website (including when and how to purchase tickets for the event or the live viewing).

Inazuma Walker Vol.9 – Corner #3

Finally, the third and last segment had various tidbits and announcements, but nothing too important:

  • Episode 6 to 10 of the Inazuma Eleven anime series is available on YouTube. Again, you can collect keywords, and redeem them for a wallpaper
  • some of the Inazuma Eleven goodies available at the animate Girls Festival can be purchased online (Japan-only)
  • viewers could get presents

Finally, it was announced that the next episode of Inazuma Walker would take place… during the big Inazuma Eleven event, on January 21st. It looks like this particular bit is going to be livestream, at the very least!
