Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition announced for Nintendo Switch, possible retail release
Last week, Rockstar Games announced that the Grand Theft Auto series is about to make its long-awaited debut on Nintendo Switch. Later this year, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be released worldwide.

As the name indicates, it’s a collection including the “classic” 3D GTA games, namely:
- Grand Theft Auto 3
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Right now, we know next to nothing about the collection. All Rockstar Games were willing to share is that the games will feature various improvements such as:
- graphical improvements
- modern gameplay enhancements
They also promise that all three game will maintain the classic look and feel of the originals.
More details about Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy will be shared in the near future, including the release date. According to retail sources, the collection is slated for a December 7th release, and will be available at retail for $59.99.
