Fire Emblem Warriors: new characters revealed (Sakura, Male Corrin), Class change and skill details

Last week, Koei-Tecmo showcased Fire Emblem Warriors during the Famitsu 1500th Issue livestream, with some gameplay (nothing new) and a new character (Elise). And it looks like the company isn’t quite done with reveals just yet, as a brand new character was revealed via the usual batch of Famitsu previews… Sakura, from Fire Emblem Fates!

Since Elise was already confirmed last week, it was all but guaranteed that Sakura would also be in the game (after all, the two characters are pretty deeply related). Based on the preview scan below, we can see that this new character is using a bow in battle: once again, it’s not her main weapon (which is the case of several other characters in the game, such as Lissa who is using an axe).

But that’s not all: the preview scan also shows another new (but totally expected) character: Male Corrin, but it’s not 100% sure he’s playable just yet (he most likely will be). The magazine will also have details about Class Change, Skills, and History Mode (with famous scenes from the Fire Emblem series).

Naturally, Sakura and Male Corrin have already been added to the list of confirmed characters!

Here’s the preview from Famitsu magazine, that shows Sakura and Elise, but also Male Corrin:

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine will be released on Thursday in Japan (Wednesday afternoon/evening for Europe and North America).

Fire Emblem Warriors (Switch, New 3DS) will be released on September 28th in Japan, and October 20th in Europe and North America.
