Fire Emblem if: some details and a couple of screenshots from the Nintendo eShop

Right after the Nintendo Direct, on Sunday, Nintendo launched pre-loading for Fire Emblem if on the Japanese Nintendo eShop. Players interested in the game can already buy it and download it, so they can start playing at 10PM on June 24th.  But to do so, 24 666 blocks are required (around 3GB), making it one of the biggest games available on the Nintendo eShop.

But after the download, only 12 239 blocks are used: this is because you have to initiate a second download once you’ve cleared Chapter 5,  when you pick up your route (Hoshido or Nohr). Therefore, the 12 239 blocks are most likely the shared assets between the two routes, as well as the content up to Chapter 5.

The Nintendo eShop also features three different screenhots:

– the first two show the Avatar and Kazahana teaming up against a Dark Mage from Nohr;
– the third one shows two units teaming up against a Ninja

Here’s the Nintendo eShop screenshots for Fire Emblem if:

Here’s what the top-screen look like when you touch the Fire Emblem if icon on the Home Menu:

Finally, here’s a special Fire Emblem if pre-paid card (2000 Yen, same price as the extra route as DLC, or the third route also sold as DLC):
