Fire Emblem Fates soundtrack to be released on April 27th
Fire Emblem Fates came out in June 2015 in Japan, but its soundtrack is still not available for purchase anywhere. Good news for fans of the series: it will be released next month, on April 27th. And it looks like there’s a good reason it took so long: the album will be massive, with 7 CD, 134 tracks, and even a DVD. The full thing will cost 6 800 Yen, which is more than the game itself.
The soundtrack album will come on 7CD:
- Disc 1: 13 tracks
- Disc 2: 21 tracks
- Disc 3: 21 tracks
- Disc 4: 24 tracks
- Disc 5: 19 tracks
- Disc 6: 17 tracks
- Disc 7: 19 tracks
- Total: 134 tracks (over 14h of music)
But that’s not all! The album will also come with a DVD, including the following (in HD):
- Opening Movies (Birthright ver. / Conquest ver. / Revelation ver.)
- Characters Movies (Royal Family of Hoshido / Royal Family of Nohr)
- Aqua’s Song (Birthright ver. / Conquest ver.)
- music from the DLC, the amiibo features, etc.
- My Castle music
- Vocal tracks, instrumental versions
The album will come in a rather neat four-sided Digipak, featuring an original artwork by Kozaki Yuusuke. It will include 24 page booklet (in colour), with messages from the composers: Hiroki Morishita, Rei Kondoh, Masato Koda, and more. Everything in this soundtrack album is from the original material (from Intelligent Systems’ back-ups).
