Fixed a bug making it impossible to progress after opening Team Info at a certain point during the boss battle in chapter 1.

Fixed a bug making it impossible to progress after skipping a certain event at a certain point in chapter 5.

Fixed a bug making it impossible to progress under certain conditions.

Fixed visual bugs affecting some animations and UI.

Fixed a bug causing buff/debuff effects to duplicate or preventing them from working properly.

Made other minor adjustments and fixed other minor bugs.

Fixed a bug that increased loading time exponentially under certain conditions.

Fixed a bug making it impossible to progress after being defeated by the boss in chapter 11.

Known issues:

Certain actions in the Mamu Ruins sometimes cause the PC to fall through the ground.

Workaround: Using Fast Travel to go to another area will resolve the issue. There are plans to fix this bug in the near future.

How to download updates for FAIRY TAIL 2 for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for FAIRY TAIL 2, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
