Fixes
- Fixed a hitbox issue on The Hand in Taffy Reef that was causing strange sounds.
- Fixed some hitboxes on spikes in Taffy Reef.
- Fixed a specific hitbox in Taffy Reef that was allowing the player to move out of bounds.
- Fixed some overlapping sprite layers in Taffy Reef.
- Fixed a black screen issue that occurred when the player traveled from Sonata Glade to Taffy Reef and died from a spike near the gate.
- Fixed a specific hitbox in Celeste Bathyal that was causing gems to get stuck after reading a cuneiform.
- Fixed a specific hitbox in Celeste Bathyal that was preventing the player from jumping.

Changes/Improvements
- Improved the performance of background animations on Taffy Reef.
- Added an aura around Kimo during the Kradyrev fight to improve visibility.
- Allows switches in Sonata Glade to be activated with just one attack hit instead of 3-5.
- Moved a diary to a safer location in Polar Solium.
- Dialogue with bosses will be skipped after talking to them once.
- Kimo can now attack immediately after performing an air jump.
- Changed the text background during cutscenes to a darker color for improved visibility.

How to download updates for Faerie Afterlight for the Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for Faerie Afterlight, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
