A Robot Named Fight!
Next week (on November 26th), A Robot Named Fight! will get an update adding a “new” game mode: Deathmode, previously accessible only via a secret seed. Here’s some more details:
This new game mode pits up to four players against one another, each controlling their own version of the titular robot Fight in a couch co-op blaster brawl. After choosing from any of the five hand-crafted areans, players are afforded an opportunity to start with three Artifacts chosen via roulette; just how generous will the gods be? Once the action starts, explore and retrieve additional firepower and randomly generated upgrades (orbs, vorbs and morebs!) to hunt down and destroy your opponents. Work against a countdown timer or toward a kill-count while dodging the relentless barrage of laser beams, wave bombs, and buzzsaws.
- Adjustable frag or time limit
- Toggleable starting items and random item roulette
- Spawnable items: All, Energy Only, or None
- Five hand-crafted arenas (2 unlocked through achievements)
- Add or Remove maps from rotation
- Support for over 50 items, including: Attractor Helm, Arachnomorph, Jet Pack, Tri Orb, AuraBolt, Fragment Shots, Buzz Orb, Energy Axe, Regeneration Helm, Buzzsaw
- Shell, Dash, Viridian Shell, Wave Bomb
- End-game scoreboard to see who is the most Fight!
The best part? The update offers quite a lot of content for Single Player:
- A new area, The Forest Slums
- 2 New Bosses
- 10 New Items
- Dozens of New Enemies
- An overhauled champion enemy system
- Teleporters for fast travel between areas
- More than 100 new rooms
- Ongoing development for even more new stuff!
