Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete – Martina, Rou, and Grotta

Martina is an elegant female fighter travelling around the world with Rou, in order to carry her objective. You need to be wary of her legs, as they possess incredible destructive power. As you can imagine, she definitely isn’t your average fighter!

In battle, she focuses on combat, and usually goes head-first. Martina can use either a spear or claws, along with a variety of kicks (her specialty). She’s not just a pretty lady: she’s quite reliable in battle!

Here’s some the skills and techniques she can use:

  • Hell Spark (Special Skill, Spear)
  • Sexy Beam (Special Skill)
  • Witch Nail (Special Skill, Claw)

As for Rou, the person Martina travels around the world with, he’s quite the mysterious old man. He may look like your average old man, but he can use advanced spells, and martial arts skills.

In battle, his skills allows him to play the role of both attacker and healer. His spells can either be used to help teammates (recovery spells), or deal lots of damage to enemies (attack spells). He can use either a two-handed staff or claws, depending on the role you want him to play during battle.

Here’s some of the skills and techniques he can use:

  • Kazing (Spell)
  • Liger Crash (Special Skill, Claws)
  • Kacrack (Spell)
  • Kazam (Spell)
  • Baptism of Hero (Special Skill)

Finally, we have Grotta: a flourishing town located in the norther part of the continent, where a Masked Fighters Tournament take place. In this tournament, masked fighters battle each other, in pairs. As you can imagine, the town is bustling with activity when those tournaments are held, with both fighters that came to participate and tourists that came to watch them.

In this town, an arena and a statue of General Greig can be found.
