Dragon Quest VIII: screenshots and gameplay footage

On Wednesday, Square-Enix published a press release for Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. The focus was on the voice actors for the main characters of the game, who came to gave some comments about this Nintendo 3DS version of the PS2 classic.

They are:

– Jessica: Ayana Taketatsu
– Yangus: Fumihiko Tachiki
– Angelo: Yoshimasa Hosoya
– Red: Hitomi Nabatame
– Morrie: Jouji Nakata
– Dhoulmagus Takehito Koyasu

That press comes with several new screenshots for the game, that you can find below.

And today, V-Jump magazine uploaded a video for Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, with some actual gameplay footage from the game. The producer of this Nintendo 3DS version (Noriyoshi Fujimoto) gives us a good look at the field and some other areas, and allows us to get a preview of the voice acting and the orchestral soundtrack.
