Good Smile Company and Izanagi Games have shared a new video for Dark Auction, the brand-new mystery adventure game written by Rika Suzuki. It’s a behind-the-scenes video that focuses on the music, showing the recording sessions.

Quite fittingly, the development team went with a jazz-themed soundtrack, with the video giving us a preview of 4 different tracks. It also features some comments from the composers.

【Story】

Searching for his father, who never returned from a secret auction, Noah ventures alone to an old castle deep within the black forest—where he witnesses a shocking scene. Realizing that he and the other guests are now trapped inside, he chooses to join the bizarre auction himself in order to uncover the truths hidden within the items on display.

Freely explore a 3D map and search for clues scattered throughout the ancient castle. Engage in conversations with other participants—what you learn will change depending on the choices you make.

“Word Cloud”

Organize the items and keywords you’ve gathered to uncover the truth behind the story. They become key in solving the riddles presented during the auction.

“Auction”

In the Dark Auction, the targets offer fragments of their memories. As a supporter, it’s your job to restore their memories to bring the truth back into focus. If the memory you’ve restored is correct, the auction will succeed. When an auction succeeds, the true story is revealed and the bizarre tales behind the items come to light.

Dark Auction (Switch) does not have a release date yet, but is still slated for a 2025 release worldwide.
