Summer at the Edge of the Universe
Studio Élan have announced their latest game: Summer at the Edge of the Universe, a “solarpunk lesbian visual novel” slated for a 2021 release.
Here’s the debut video and some details:
After drifting apart for several years, a chance encounter brings four best friends back together for the journey of a lifetime. For Summer Nansen (CV: Hikaru Station), this trip is not only a chance to rekindle old friendships, but also to discover what it is she wants out of life. Alongside a new robot friend named Curiosity, the four girls travel from planet to planet, exploring the natural wonders and diverse alien cultures that they come across. Their journey culminates at the borderline of existence itself: the very edge of the universe. The game features three routes, each centered around one of Summer’s friends. Every route contains both romantic and platonic endings. More fantasy than sci-fi, Summer aims to be a positive and uplifting experience, with one of the core tenets for the game being “good vibes only.”

Umihara Kawase BaZooKa!
Success have announced that Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! will be released on May 28th in Japan, where it will cost 2 800 Yen + taxes. It will offer an English language option.

Assault Chainguns KM
Regista have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: Assault Chainguns KM, developed by QZM. It will be released on February 20th in Japan, and it’s now available for pre-purchase on the Nintendo eShop for 987 Yen (regular price from March 11th: 1 496 Yen). Unfortunately, it will not offer an English language option.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses – Cindered Shadows
Nintendo have added a new physical reward to My Nintendo in Japan: a set of two clear files (A4 size) based on Fire Emblem: Three Houses – Cindered Shadows. It costs 300 Platinum Coins.
