Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute – Ver. 1.01

  • Release date: February 9th 2022 (North America) / February 10th 2022 (Europe, Japan)
  • Games: Cotton2 Saturn Tribute, Cotton Boomerang Saturn Tribute, Guardian Force Saturn Tribute
  • Patch notes:
  • The Scanline setting has been added. Access the Scanline setting by going to Screen Setting -> Scanline.
  • A setting to speed up loading has been added. The setting can be configured in Extra Option -> Fast Loading.
  • Added a new feature to Cotton 2 and Guardian Force that allows you to set unlimited continues, which was previously only available in the main game of Cotton Boomerang. This can be set in Extra Option -> Credit.
  • The input delay has been improved.

How to download updates for Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
