Collectible Badge Center: new update available (1.3.0)

Last night, Collectible Badge Center was down for some lengthy maintenance. This was in preparation for a brand new Software update, which was released earlier today in Japan. It brings several additions/changes/fixes. Here’s the official changelog for Ver. 1.3.0:

  • A entrance to the “Collection” was added to the Hall. You can upgrade it by collecting a certain amount of badge types;
  • In your collection, your badges are now shown with everything sorted by category;
  • From now on, to download the latest updates, you simply need to launch the game and stay on the Title Screen for about 12 seconds. The latest updates will be downloaded automatically that way;
  • Introduces additional enhancements to improve the user’s experience and enjoyment.

This update requires about 585 blocks (~73MB) of free space on your SD Card. To download it, you have several options:

  • you can select the game from the Home Menu (while being connected to the internet), in order to trigger the download;
  • you can search for the game on the Nintendo eShop;
  • you can use the option on the Nintendo eShop Settings page.

Once you’ve downloaded and installed the update, you can check out if you have the latest version simply by launching the game. You should see this on the bottom right corner of the bottom screen:
