BUTTO BIRD (aerial battle action game) to ruffle the feathers of Nintendo Switch owners next year
BitSummit Let’s Go!! takes place next week in Kyoto (from July 14th to July 16th, to be precise), and we’re still getting some last minute announcements for it. Today’s announcement comes from Locobit, who revealed that BUTTO BIRD, an aerial battle action game they’re currently working on, will be playable at the event.

Scheduled for a (tentative) 2024 release, BUTTO BIRD allows up to 4 players to take part in intense sky battles where everyone control their own bird (equipped with a jetpack). The game is said to offer simple controls that allow both beginners and advanced players to play together.

Fly, shoot, and blow them away! “BUTTO BIRD” is an aerial battle action game that allows up to 4-players to enjoy the exhilarating experience of flying freely through the sky with a charming and lovable “bird” equipped with a powerful “jetpack”. The game’s unique combination of cute and hardcore elements creates a thrilling and entertaining gameplay experience. At first, all 4-players are rivals, but suddenly it may become a 1 vs. 3 team battle. Within a limited time, only one winner will be determined! With simple controls, both beginners and advanced players can enjoy intense aerial battles together.
BUTTO BIRD (Switch – eShop) does not have a release date yet, but is slated for a (tentative) 2024 release.
