ARMS: upcoming update (Ver. 3.0) to add remappable controls
Later this month, Nintendo will release the third major update for ARMS, and this one promises to be quite meaty. Besides the new fighter (Lola Pop) and her stage, we can expect this update to bring various improvements and balance fixes (as usual, the full patch notes will be added to this post as soon as they’re available).
Today, announced that Ver. 3.0 of ARMS would add a pretty neat feature: remappable controls. That’s right, you will be able to remap the various buttons, allowing you to enjoy as comfortable a gameplay experience as possible. And it doesn’t look like there’s a catch: the video below shows that the controls are fully remappable (not just a few key actions), with several profiles (one for each control type).
Here’s the video showcasing remappable controls:

Next, here’s some more video clips for Lola Pop and her stage:
Lola Pop’s key ability is inflating her body like a balloon, providing her w/ great defense. She can even move while in balloon form! #ARMS pic.twitter.com/ufcpnvesGh

Finally, here’s some more illustrations for the game:
Finally, something pretty neat from Bandai: a set of inflatable ARMS, that come with a string. Using that string, you can “throw” the ARM and have it come back to you.
Here’s some pictures of those inflatable ARMS (no western release planned):
ARMS Ver. 3.0 will be released later this month.
