Arcade Archives Ark Area releasing this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster has announced that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is Ark Area. It’s a multidirectional scrolling shooter originally developed and released on Arcade by UPL back in 1987 worldwide. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on May 18th, and it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

“Ark Area” is a a shooting game released by UPL in 1989. Players will control a fighter aircraft that can attack in all directions in order to defeat enemies that appear from various directions. This is a title full of unique features from UPL including appealing graphics, sounds, as well as afterimage stages.
