Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete now available

Earlier this year, Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will shut down on November 28th, and that it would be replaced by a paid, offline version of the game without microtransactions later that same year. This new version has finally been revealed: it’s called Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, and it will launch on December 2nd/3rd worldwide. It’s now available for pre-registration on Google Play and the AppStore.

At launch, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will cost 9.99€ / £8.99 / $9.99 / 980 Yen. But that’s only until January 31st; after that date, you will have to pay 19.99€ / $19.99 / £17.99 / 2,000 Yen to get the game. Nintendo specifies that this is a one-time purchase game: you only need to pay once to play, and you won’t have to deal with any microtransactions later on. Also, you first need to buy the game before you can start playing (no free trial).

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will require iOS14 or newer / Android 6 or newer with at least 2GB RAM and a 64-bits CPU. It will require about 281.3MB of free space (at least, on first launch). It will be playable in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Traditional Chinese.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will offer Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players the option to transfer their save data, allowing them to keep playing with (almost) all the items they’ve already obtained, all the animals they’ve befriended, etc.. All you need is a Nintendo Account, which needs to be linked to the game ahead of the transfer. Check out the FAQ for more details!

As for new players, they will be able to discover the same gameplay, features, and content as in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, but without any of the microtransactions.

Just like the original game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete has you become the manager of a camping site. It’s up to you to create a lively campsite where many animals gather. You can chat with them, befriend them, and even have them help you with your work. You can also fish, catch insects, and more.

And similar to the mainline games on consoles, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete features various events, including Gardening Events and Fishing Tournaments, but also seasonal events such as Halloween, Christmas/Toy Day, Easter, and Summer. By taking part in those events, you can collect lots of cool seasonal items to decorate your campsite with.

Alongside all the content added to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp through the years (including the 7th anniversary items and events), this Complete version will also offer a few new features and items.

And in the evenings, the one and only K. K. Slider will drop by your camping site for a musical performance!

If you want to introduce yourself to your fellow players, you can create a My Camper Card. Choose your favourite colour, a pose, your favourite animal, and you’re good to go! By scanning the QR Code found on another player’s Camper Card, you can add them as friend and they will be able to visit your campsite to play with you.

You can visit a new place that didn’t exist in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Other players whose Camper Cards you registered will come visit. There will be live guitar performances too for you to enjoy music at night.

◆ Complete Ticket
When you work hard in events, you can earn Complete Tickets. You can exchange them for limited edition items that you missed out on or fortune cookies of your choice.
