Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer – Introduction Trailer

Animal Crossing Happy Home DesignerAvailable since last month in Japan, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer will come out in late September in North America, and early October in Europe. With a little over a month left until release, Nintendo has decided to upload an Introduction Trailer (Europe) for the game today, showcasing the main features.

It all starts with you getting a job at Nook’s Home, where you will have to design homes, schools, and more. You start by taking the requests of the various villagers, which all have their own tastes and preferences. When you complete those requests, you can get their favorite pieces of furniture as a reward.

To do your job, you will have thousands of items to chose from, but those are not available from the get-go: they are unlocked progressively. And as mentionned previously, you don’t get to design only home interiors, but also schools, hospitals, concert halls and various other facilities around town.

Finally, the trailer doesn’t forget to mention the amiibo compatibility: by scanning the various amiibo cards, you can invite the characters on them to your village (otherwise, they are unlocked randomly).

Finally, here’s a HQ picture of the Collector’s Album for the first series of Animal Crossing amiibo cards (launching on October 2nd in Europe):

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS) comes out on September 25th in North America, and October 2nd in Europe.
