amiibo cards: pictures of the cards from the first series

On July 30th, Nintendo will launch the long-awaited (or long-dreaded for some!) amiibo cards, alongside Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for the Nintendo 3DS. Since they both launch on the same day, it’s no wonder the first series of cards is based on Animal Crossing… though obviously this is no coincidence: the cards are a central element of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, as they allow the player to unlock characters for the game.

The first series of Animal Crossing amiibo cards will include a total of 100 cards, with each pack containing 3 of them at random (each pack costs 300 Yen in Japan). On its official website, Nintendo has been revealing various cards over the past few days; here’s all those revealed so far:

From the looks of it, Nintendo is revealing new cardsregular. Since there’s 55 cards left, we can assume Nintendo will have revealed all the cards from the first series of Animal Crossing amiibo cards pretty soon. We’ll update this post whenever new cards is revealed on the official website.

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS) and the first series of Animal Crossing amiibo cards will launch on July 30th in Japan, September 25th in North America, and October 2nd in Europe.
