Ace Attorney: blog post for Spirit of Justice, preview for the final episode of the anime

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice came out a few days ago, but Capcom isn’t quite done with blog posts for the game! This time around, we get to learn more about:

  • After the Morning Dance of Devotion~♪ (Toshihiko Horiyama, Sound Director)
  • On Drawing 2D Illustrations (Norihide Fuzii, character models, drawing 2D and mini-character illustrations)
  • Localisation of some of the illustrations

But that’s not all: here’s some gameplay footage from the very beginning of the game, courtesy of Capcom!

Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu” Igiari!

On Saturday, the 23rd episode of the Ace Attorney anime series (Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu” Igiari!) aired in Japan. Called Farewell, My Turnabout – Third Trial, it’s now available on Crunchyroll. As usual, Yomiuri TV uploaded the preview for the next episode on YouTube shortly after. Titled “Farewell, My Turnabout – Final Trial”, it will air this Saturday, on September 24th (at the usual time: 5.30PM JST).

In the next episode, Phoenix Wright will have to make the most important choice of his life: get a Not Guilty verdict for a criminal, or prevent him from walking free? The answer to that question would be much more obvious if the life of Maya wasn’t hanging in the balance…

Here’s the preview for the 24th episode of the Ace Attorney anime series, “Farewell, My Turnabout – Final Trial”:

Please note that this the very last episode for Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu” Igiari!. We currently don’t know if there will be a second season or not, since nothing has been announced so far. It’s quite possible there will be some sort of teaser at the end of the final episode, but nothing is guaranteed just yet.

Talking of the Ace Attorney anime series, the 22nd episode (which aired on September 10th) was the 8th most popular anime episode during its airing week, with an Average Household Rating of 5.3, one of its highest ratings so far.
