Bloodstained: teaser for the next Kickstarter update

Last month, Inti Creates posted a new post on the Kickstarter page of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. They used it as an opportunity to showcase two of the shaders they made for the game: you can click here to check them out! After this post, they received plenty of feedback: it’s exactly what they were expecting, even though they never thought they would get so much of it.

They read it all, while working on the next set of screenshots for the game. The developers planned to have another update in late December, but they obviously missed their target. As an apology, they posted a teaser pic earlier this week:

Since we heard that the backers wanted a more illustration-like feel, we had Inti Creates work on several methods of making that possible. Out of the options they showed us, we really liked this “toon” shader right away. The background is not ready yet, but I’ve had them put together a preview of just Miriam. I hope you can understand why we like it so much.

The next update should be posted next week, and should have some more screenshots from the game.

Bloodstained will come out on Wii U.
