PowerWash Simulator 2 – Ver. 1.2

  • Release date: March 10th/11th 2026
  • Patch notes:

  • Take a trip to the Three Rivers National Park to wash down the Miniature Village. The little Nutsville village needs a big clean up, from the harbour to the viaduct, to the observatory and everywhere in between, this is no small job.
  • Key Rebinding is here so you can now remap your keys in the way you prefer to help you comfortably enjoy PowerWash Simulator 2.
  • Your home base just got more flexible too, with furniture now fully stackable.
  • We’ve added Controller Deadzone Sliders for finer tuning.

Achievements and Jobs

  • Achievement fixes including Purr Bonding, which is now only unlockable in the Home Base. A fix to gnome placement in Tea Time, and adjustments to Rise and Shine.
  • The Hanging Arrow in the Fun House job has been fixed.
  • We’ve removed the invisible wall in the Sound Hallway of the Fun House job.
  • Cash earned in Career Story Mode jobs now tracks as intended.
  • We removed the glue from navigation equipment so it shouldn’t get stuck in your hands anymore.
  • Ladder placement bug fixed.
  • You’re now able to recall dirty furniture in the Home Base.

Gameplay and Quality of Life

  • The ‘Lock Mouse to Screen’ setting has been fixed.
  • Fixed some keybind issues that occured when using a Mouse.
  • Fixed crosshair when switching from soap to base nozzle.
  • We fixed a bug that caused the shop and customisation windows to load incorrectly when the game was launched in certain languages.
  • Fixed the ‘Controller Disconnected’ message pop up.
  • Endgame music no longer disrupted by reconnecting controller.
  • Language setting pop up fixed.
  • Some adjustments to the Shop.
  • Equipment SFX fixes.
  • General Frame Rate updates.
  • General adjustments to UI.

Multiplayer and Split Screen

Various bug fixes for multiplayer sessions including:
  • We fixed an issue that caused Freeplay vs Multiplayer progress to save incorrectly.
  • Soap can now be recalled as intended.
  • Updates to Navigation Equipment and Furniture including usage, rotation, and placement.
  • Updates to various pop ups.
  • We’ve re-aligned some Washer Beam VFX.
  • Timelapse is now consistent when you wash the same level in solo play and multiplayer.
  • Client notification fix for players leaving a session.
  • Adjustments to VFX.
  • Frame Rate updates.

Nintendo Switch 2

  • Autosaves will happen more often.
  • We fixed some performance issues in the Mount Rushless job.

  • PowerWash Points cap pop-up removed
  • Scissor lift in Theatre level is now moveable as intended.

How to download updates for PowerWash Simulator 2 on Nintendo Switch 2?

To download the updates for PowerWash Simulator 2, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
