Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush – Limited-time events (#2: So Strong It’s Funny / #3: Dig & Beat)
The DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC for Donkey Kong Bananza introduces a brand new game mode called Emerald Rush. In this mode, you get to tackle a series of fast-paced challenges in order to earn various rewards. It also offers limited-events, with exclusive statues to earn!

Note: you can tackle the challenge as many times as you want while an event is running!

The third online event takes place on the following days:

- This challenge is all about Groove. All the Emerald Perks have ‘Groove’ in the name, such as Encore Groove (causes more emerald ore to appear based on the amount of time you spend in any Bananza form) and Turf Groove (causes more emerald ore to appear based on the distance you travel while Turf Surfing)
- the Skills you can get from Banandium Gems are fixed
- the Perks you can get from Banandium Gems and fossils are also fixed (though you do get the usual selection of 3 Perks to choose from)
- the order of Void Goals is also fixed

- This challenge is all about Emerald Chips. You can find the Chip Hoarder perk, which increases the amount of Emerald Ore you can get based from defeating enemies based on the number of chips you have, as well as the Magic Wallet perk, which increases the amount of Emerald Ore you can hold by 1.5
- the Skills you can get from Banandium Gems are fixed
- the Perks you can get from Banandium Gems and fossils are also fixed (though you do get the usual selection of 3 Perks to choose from)
