Arcade Archives USAAF Mustang releasing this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster have announced that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is USAAF Mustang. It’s a horizontally scrolling shoot ’em up originally developed and released on Arcade by UPL back in 1990 in Japan. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on September 2nd, and like other Arcade Archives releases, it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

Here’s some screenshots and details:

“USAAF MUSTANG” is a shooter released by UPL in 1990. Players pilot a plane and take on enemy squadrons. Use power up items to enhance your weapons and gain the advantage as you clear stages. The key to victory is the “STRIKE FORCER” attack, which makes you temporarily invincible in a pinch while continuing your attacks on enemies.

Also, if you want to see Arcade Archives USAAF Mustang, make sure to check out the latest Famitsu livestream today. It will showcase that game, alongside Arcade Archives Space Cruiser (released last week). It will take place at the usual time:
