SkateBIRD: new gameplay video showcases Bedroom level

Later this week, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will finally be released on Nintendo Switch. But if you prefer your skating games with cute little critters instead of famous pro skaters, no problem! Glass Bottom Games are working hard on SkateBIRD, which is currently slated for an August 12th release in Europe and North America.

Today, they shared a brand new gameplay video, which showcases a brand new level: the Bedroom!

Crooked grind around long-forgotten bowls left under the bed, noseslide down discarded pizza boxes, and blast tailgrabs off ramps made from the latest issue of Thrusher MagazineSkateBIRD’s micro skateparks transform everyday objects into DIY ramps, rails, and other trickable terrain that make for perfect for bird-sized shredders.

Also featured in the gameplay video is a peep at SkateBIRD’s character customization options. At any point, players can switch between 30 species of birds, select from dozens of wardrobe options and accessories, tweak deck and wheel graphics, and choose their bird’s feather patterns.

And here’s some more screenshots for the game:
