Nintendo Switch: Nindies Showcase Summer 2018 [Now over]

Earlier this week, plenty of brand new and previously announced indie games for the Nintendo Switch were showcased during the (first?) Indie Highlights video presentation that Nintendo of Europe uploaded to kick off gamescom 2018. And next week, PAX West takes place in Seattle, and as expected, there will be another video presentation dedicated to indie games on Nintendo Switch: the Nindies Showcase Summer 2018!

In case you’re wondering: yes, this is the very presentation teased at the end of the Indie Highlights video. It should come as no surprise to anyone who has been following Nindies news, since we’ve already had quite a few presentations like this one in the past couple of years.

During this presentation, Nintendo will showcase “multiple unannounced indie games” coming to the Nintendo Switch, which means it will not be just a rehash of the Indie Highlights presentation. Alongside the new games, we can also expect updates on previously announced games like Shovel Knight: King of Cards and maybe even Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.

The Nindies Showcase Summer 2018 will take place on August 28th at the following times:

• Europe: 6PM
• UK: 5PM
• North America (ET): 12PM
• North America (PT): 9AM
• Japan: 1AM (August 29th)
