Pokémon news (April 16th): Pokémon movie trailer, battle competiton

Battle competition

Registration for the 2015 International Challenge April is now open, and runs until April 23rd. The competition itself will take place from April 24th to April 26th.The Top 256 players will get some Championships Points (which allow them to quality for the 2015 World Championships).

The rules are as follow:

– Double Battle
– National Pokédex only (witout the usual Legendary Pokémon)

Pokémon The Movie

Today, The Pokémon Company showed a new trailer for the 18th Pokémon movie, called “Hoopa and the Clash of Ages”. It was shown early in the morning during the Oha Shuta show in Japan, and is now available on YouTube. It features Hoopa Unbound, which was officially revealed on Tuesday.

Pokémon The Movie: Hoopa & The Clash of Ages comes out on July 18th in Japan, and later this year in North America.
