Europe: Deep Silver to publish Atlus/SEGA titles (7th Dragon III, SMTIV Apocalypse)

The past few months have been rough for fans of Atlus in Europe. Due to the deal between NIS America and Atlus being called off, fans have been left wondering what would happen to upcoming Atlus and SEGA games in that region. The complete silence from Atlus (and SEGA, who should be the one publishing the games in Europe in the first place!) really didn’t help alleviate fears.

But today, Atlus finally have some good news for fans living in Europe: they have signed a publishing deal with Deep Silver. With this deal, Deep Silver becomes the publisher of several Atlus and SEGA titles on consoles (including handhelds) across all European & PAL territories (which includes Australia).

That deal covers 7th Dragon III code:VFD and Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse, but also other upcoming (and unannounced) titles. The best thing? The games will be available both at retail and on the Nintendo eShop (which isn’t all that surprising: Atlus could have taken care of digital-only releases by themselves if they intended to go down that route).

Unfortunately, we don’t have a release date for either 7th Dragon III code:VFD or Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse, but for the former, a simultaneous release is obviously not on the table.

Our Upcoming Releases page will be updated momentarily!
