Yo-kai Watch 3: gameplay video for Zombie Night

This week again, Level-5 uploaded a new gameplay video for Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi / Tempura. This time around, it’s Zombie Night (a new “mode”) which is showcased. In Zombie Night, Keita Amano / Nate Adams is being chased by zombies, and he has to escape before the zombies catch up to him.

To escape, Keita / Nate can run, but also dash when a zombie gets a little too close. Of course, he cannot dash non-stop: there’s a stamina bar to pay attention to. If a zombie catches up to you, he will hit you: you take damage, and if your health bar reaches zero, it’s game over for you. Things can get pretty ugly pretty fast if you get surrounded!

In the footage below, we see Keita / Nate entering a shop. Inside, zombies are patrolling, and you need to avoid getting spotted. If you do, you can always use the special hammer given to you by the Professor to defeat them.

At the end of the level, you have to ring a bell in order to escape. Unfortunately, there’s a catch: you need a few seconds to ring it, so you need to make sure there’s no zombies nearby first.

Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi / Tempura (3DS) comes out on July 16th in Japan.
