Take-2 bringing NBA 2K18 to the Nintendo Switch

Back in 2013, Take-2 released NBA 2k13 on Wii U. Who knew it would take more than four years until the series would get a release on a Nintendo platform again. On Friday, during the Nintendo Switch Presentation, Take-2 confirmed that they would indeed bring a basketball game to the Nintendo Switch.

And that game is not NBA 2K17, as many expected, but instead… NBA 2K18! Quite interestingly, the game hasn’t even been properly unveiled for any platform yet, though as an annual franchise, the Nintendo Switch reveal didn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

Here’s the main features of the game:

  • Create your MyPLAYER and develop your own NBA journey in MyCAREER.
  • Build your all-star MyTEAM with new card types.
  • MyLEAGUE and MyGM – Take control of an NBA franchise or the entire league.
  • More features to be announced!

Unfortunately, that’s pretty much all we know about it for now, since the game hasn’t been properly unveiled yet. No doubt Take-2 will share some details and screens, along with a trailer, when comes the time to finally unveil it.

NBA 2K18 (Switch) will most likely be released in September in Europe and North America.
