Miitomo: new update available on Android and iOS (Ver. 1.1.3)

Update

The latest update for Miitomo (Ver. 1.1.3) is now available on iOS devices too, and requires 75.6MB of free space.

***MiitomoYesterday, Nintendo released another update for Miitomo on Android, and just like Ver. 1.1.2, it’s not available for iOS devices (which probably doesn’t need it in the first place). Obviously, it does not add any new features, as so far, Nintendo has made sure to maintain parity between the two versions.

What this update does is further optimise the app, in order to make it run better (which is significantly more complex on Android, found on a myriad of devices with extremely varying specs).

Here’s the official changelog for Ver. 1.1.3 of Miitomo:

  • Implemented speed increases for some processes;
  • Implemented bug fixes.

This update requires 31.76MB of free space on your Android device. To download it, simply click on the notification that should appear on your device, or go directly to the Play Store > My apps & games. Naturally, it’s recommended to download and install this update as soon as possible, even if you haven’t encountered any particular issues with Miitomo.

To check that you have the latest version of the app installed, simply launch the app: you should see Ver. 1.1.3 in the bottom left corner of the screen. Alternatively, you can check the current version of Miitomo by going to Menu > Other, and looking at the very bottom of the screen.
