LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2: new trailer, more characters revealed; release date and deluxe edition

It’s last week, at the San Diego Comic Con 2017, that Warner Bros. chose to reveal the latest trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. This one focuses on Kang the Conqueror, the main villain of the game, who has been travelling through time and space in order to steal numerous cities, and create Chronopolis (an Open Hub World).

As you can see in the trailer below, Chronopolis is made of varied locations: Ancient Egypt, New York City in 2099, Wakanda, Xander, and settings from many different Marvel series.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will also feature a brand new characters, created by TT Games and Marvel: Carmon, that fuses Carnage and Venom to form one super evil Super Villain. Don’t try looking for him anywhere else: he’s completely to this game.

  • Gwenpool (Gwen Stacy and Deadpool)
  • Vulture (from Spider-Man: Homecoming)

  • Medusa
  • Lockjaw

The trailer also revealed the release date for the game: November 14th for North America, and November 17th for Europe. It also reveals that the Nintendo Switch is getting a Deluxe Edition, that includes the following:

  • the base game
  • the Season Pass
  • the Classic Guardians of the Galaxy Character Pack
