  • Rhythm mini-game
    • ValiDate’s rhythm mini-game allows players to play as Malik as he DJs his set for the gala in the MalikRocky route! Players will have a choice to play:
      • Coochie Man
      • Yo Gabba Gabba
      • Malik’s Anthem
  • Auto-Save
    • Auto-save is coming to ValiDate! At every choice, the game automatically saves!
  • Skip to the next choice button
    • Players are given the option to skip choices to get their desired endings!
  • Updated character outfitsand hairstyles for some characters
  • Different font options
    • Players have a choice of:
      • Dosis (original font)
      • Open Dyslexic
      • Roboto
  • End card indicators
    • We added end-card indicators to let players know what ending they got!
  • More quality-of-life, typo, and bug fixes!

  • fixes issue causing sprites not to show up at certain points
  • fixes issue causing players to only be able to catch Catfish in the fishing mini-game

How to download updates for ValiDate: Struggling Singles in your Area for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for ValiDate: Struggling Singles in your Area, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
