UK: video games sales for Week 2, 2016 (Jan. 11 – 16)

After two weeks without a single Wii U or Nintendo 3DS game in the Top 40, Week 2 is the combo breaker. Indeed, there is one lonely game on Nintendo platforms in the sea of PlayStation 4 and XBox One title… Just Dance 2016. It seems that Splatoon, Super Mario Maker, or Mario Kart 8 are not going to make their comeback any time soon.

On Wii U, Mario Kart 8 is the new best-seller, but on Nintendo 3DS, there’s no chance: Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is still the best-selling title.
