Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree: character trailers (Rekka, Akazu)

Bandai-Namco has shared two new trailers for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree (a brand new roguelite developed by Brownies). They introduce two of the playable characters: Rekka and Akazu.

First up, here’s the character trailer for Rekka, the Resolute Blade Master:

The founding master of the Eternal Flame Dojo.

No one can hold a candle to her when she has a sword in hand, but in all other situations, she’s nothing short of a klutz—especially when it comes to cooking.

She idolizes Towa and even founded a group by the name of “Lady Towa’s Personal Guard.” Her decision to tag along on the journey was apparently to protect Towa.

And here’s the character trailer for Akazu, the Lone Researcher:

Raylee’s son, who is responsible for researching the ecology of Magaori.

He loves learning and usually holes up in the tower to read dense books and conduct secret experiments. Having rarely ventured outside, he is absolutely terrified of insects and lacks stamina.

Even so, he decided to tag along on the journey so that he could learn more about the unknown creature Magatsu, who has piqued his interest.

Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree (Switch) comes out on September 18th in Japan, and September 19th in Europe and North America.
