Today, the Squid Research Lab posted several pictures on the official Twitter account, in order to talk about the Splatfests. In the first one, players will have to chose between Rice and Bread, in order to decide which one they prefer for breakfast. It will take place on Saturday, June 13th (6PM JST) to Sunday, June 14th (6PM JST).

To vote, there’s a polling station on the plaza at Inkopolis. Apparently, you cannot change your team once you’ve voted, so you have to think carefully before voting.

When you’ve picked up your team, you get a special t-shirt that you will only be able to use during this very Splatfest. Apparently, you cannot take part in the Splatfest with any other clothes.

Druing the Splatfests, you can send special support messages to your team on Miiverse. Just pick up the new option at the Miiverse post box on the plaza, and your messages will be displayed on the sign boards.
