Splatoon: mini-weapon toys releasing in January in Japan

Splatoon is by far one the most successful new IP from Nintendo in years, with great sales around the world. But it’s truly in Japan that the colourful shooter seems to have resonated the best with players. As a result, the game has received a ton of merchandise (pretty unusual for Nintendo, and especially such a “young” franchise), ranging from music albums, t-shirts, toys, candies, and much more.

Sales may have slowed down in the past couple of months, but that doesn’t mean there are no more merchandise releasing… quite the opposite! In January, Bandai will release the Splatoon Weapon Collection: a collection of Splatoon weapon miniature toys. You won’t really be able to play with them, but at least, you can say they’re pretty cute.

The toys are sold in a box including 8 toys, and sold 3 283 Yen. Here’s the mini-weapons to be found in that box:

  • Splattershot
  • .52 Gal
  • E-Litre 3K Scope
  • Custom E-Litre 3K Scope
  • Dynamo Roller
  • Gold Dynamo Roller
  • Luna Blaster
  • Luna Blaster Neo

Here’s some pictures for those mini-weapons:

Those Splatoon mini-weapon toys will be released in Japan sometime in January. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely those will be released officially outside Japan, but at least, importing them shouldn’t be too hard (like other pieces of Splatoon merchandise).
